PREVIEW CALL OF THE SEA PYANDONEA
There is so much to see and experience throughout the upcoming Pyandonea Chapter. Check out five of the kinds of adventures that await you!
By reaching the coasts of the mysterious isle-continent of Pyandonea, you’ll quickly discover that this uncharted land has a lot to offer to those who dare enter the jungle. You could discover breathtaking scenery as well as dangers lurking in the shadows. But if you don’t know where to start, don’t worry : here are five examples of things you can see and do in the new zone.
FIGHT THE REBEL DRUIDS
Lately, some druids with questionable reputation, opponents to the Sorcerer-King’s reign and sorcerers are congregating. Powerful rituals are prepared and it bodes no well. Find the entrances of their hideout and make the warding barriers fall to interrupt their dark schemes.
But be carefull, the enemies are numerous and the obstacles tenacious, thus you might prefer to band with other players to protect the local population. To find an active ritual site, simply search its icon on your map of the region.
EXPLORE THE UNDERGROUND RIVER
If there is one place where nature shows all its might, it has to be Pyandonea. Indeed, in the middle of the suffocating vegetation, the fauna but also the flora won’t hesitate a second to squeeze the too self-confident adventurer.
One of the most impressive manifestations of this unstoppable force is the well-hidden Underground river. Discover a river dug in the heart of the rock over the centuries, almost invisible from the surface. This privileged ecosystem, as beautiful as it is, has obviously become the home to unwelcoming monsters. You will have to watch your steps in this fearsome delve.
FACE THE TERRIBLE YDONU
If many kinds of monsters live on the isle-continent, the surrounding sea is no less dangerous.
At the south of the isle, from the coast, you might see a gigantic gyre devouring everything in its way. From its center, the giant crab Ydona, older but also wiser and stronger than its congeners, unleashes its fury. Not only you’ll need a good mount but also allies to stop him.
ENTER THE CAVE OF TEARS
Mad are the ones who think that Molag Bal’s thirst for power stops to Tamriel. No, it’s all of Nirn which interests him and the Cave of tears, half on Nirn half in Oblivion, is here to prove it!
This public dungeon, one of the two introduced by Pyandonea, will let you explore a grotto invaded by Molag Bal’s minions and with a sinister atmosphere reminding you one of your previous adventures. Like the other public dungeons, you’ll find no shortage of monsters, bosses, and, of course, treasure within. Ready to reunite with some old enemies?
VISIT THIS TERRA INCOGNITA FOR TAMRIEL
After a harsh dungeon or an unbelievable adventure, we advise you to rest and visit your surroundings. We know that you will have numerous things to do and see during your exploration of the isle-continent, but we recommend you to meet the tropical elves and to discover their customs.
Visit the flourishing Satakalgrun, installed in the heart of a bay protected from the plain sea. You will necessarily fall onto the low part of the city which is entirely built over the water ! Indeed, everything is on stilts and boats. An unmistakable architecture!
These are just a handful of the many incredible experiences you can enjoy while exploring the new Pyandonea Chapter. There is so much more awaiting you on the isle-continent, including unique zone sets to craft and collect, Skyshards to claim, Antiquities to dig up, new companions to recruit and a host of side quests to complete.
